I have RIR hatched. THe one WLH is still breathing and has a big hole. I still have about 3 with a crack. None of my silkies yet.

Haven't had time to work on DD camera. This is the first time I've been able to sit up without getting really nauseated. Hatching eggs and knee surgery is for the birds.

I have 4 RIR and 1 WL hatched some had to have help because I had problems with the humidity. So far I've only had 1 silkie to pipped

Why does 4-h mom have like 4 pages of updates and I only had one person to respond!!! Here I'm trying to help these chicks on crutches and in bad pain from surgery but apparently it's not as important!!!!!

I have really tried to be supportive of everyone

Congrats on the eggs pipping. Be careful getting up to check that bator:D

I know I have noticed that too on other posts including my own. I guess some people have known each other longer. I try to post to as many as I can. Even if it just a quick good luck if I'm not sure on a answer. It shows I care. Keep me updated atleast. I love hatching babies.

Hey Jackie we just went on vacation to Eureka Springs in June. Rode the motorcycle out to meet up with a group of people on another site I'm on. I love it out there we've went there several times. It like a central meeting spot for everyone.

Jackie, most of the time I don't post unless I feel I have something to contribute, unless it's a first-timer that I welcome to the board. I've been watching your hatch and feel that you have everything under control and there was nothing I could do to help. I'm sorry if you feel unloved.

It's just been a really wierd week for the board.....

Congrats on your hatch and I do hope you're silkies pop soon!

One that was suppose to be a white legger (but it's black)was stuck in the back of the shell and after a while I pulled it off and it had a bloody navel. Do I need to do something? It's not looking too good!!!

jackie

Is it bleeding, as in a stream of blood, or is there just some blood around the navel? If it's bleeding badly, I'm sorry but there is nothing to be done. If it just has some blood around the navel then leave it alone in the bator/hatcher as it should dry up on it's own. I've had this happen and they came through it just fine.
