Well its been about 2-3 weeks and Ive tried ALOT of diffrent treats. Ive found that grapes must intimidate my runners because they just stare at them and run away (lol) While my pekins will eat them but dont favor them. With lettuce they love it and clean their bowls out! But what Ive found that works the best is watermelon. After I had got this 30 lbs watermelon I had cut each end off and put it in their night time crates so they would have to be near it. Well the next morning the ends looked like bowls! They picked it clean!! And I had cut the watermelon into sections and kept them in bags in the fridge. When I walked out with it to their fenced in area they would at first run and then relize that its watermelon in the bags and comming running back towards me. As soon as I would throw it in the cage they would look like savages over it!!!! One of my new Rouens would walk over to it when the runners where done pick at it then the Drake Runner would chase him and over and over this would occur. So now I have to put 2 places of watermelon so no ducks try to kill each other over food. LOL Im going to try and mash some watermelon and give some to my new Ducklings << Which are doing pretty good.
