Continuing of my other thread, Chick #1 and #2 have gotten a lot bigger and it's becoming a bit more clearer to me what I'm looking at. So, pullets or cockerels?

For the moment, personality-wise, I'd say they're a rooster. Other then that, pullet, besides their size. (larger than a chick I have that I'm 99.9% sure is a cockerel. ) Although, they are definitely more friendly to people then the other ee is, just not to the chicks for the most part.

I suspect this one's a cockerel. They're a larger in size to all my other 9 chicks, even to one that I'm 99.9% sure is a cockerel. Their comb is also more visible then my other ee's comb, and a tad bit larger.

This one's 50/50 really. I've noticed this one is way more skittish to people than the other ee, and knows when to back down to one or two of their hatch mates. (They're still rather tough to most of them. ) From what I've been told so far, and from what I think personally, It's looks say they're a cockerel.

Here they are together: (kind of )

Is it only for ee's? And is that always the case? I've heard of red being a sign of a cockerel, but I thought that were only if lets say, one were white with red splash or something like that.
That goes for all breeds. If they have red across the wing bows and where the saddles come in - that means cockerel.
