Update on the Preschool Chicks, Still don't know what they are. (New Pictures

Here are the 4 chicks in question at 3 weeks old. Still don't know what they are, maybe a Cochin Mix???. I'm sure one is a Bantam, or its a chick that isn't growing. I got 4 more Chicks last week 2 EE and 2 RIR, and they are bigger then the smallest one, and they are 2 weeks on Wed.

I re-homed 2 of them, 1 was a rooster, at least I think since the comb was double the size and red, the same person also took 3 others as well, going to live on a 10 acre farm, so that was good. But the 2 girls I kept, at least I hope they are girls have been outside in the coop/run for the last 2 days, but I'm still bringing them in at night since its cold, going to snow again tonight they said. So they might be stuck inside tomorrow too. This was yesterday.

Just going to be sad having to let a few go. We will probably keep 8-9 of them.

Well I know we will for sure have to rehome the roo, kind of sad because it would be nice to have one to protect the flock. Maybe I could get away with one unless he is really noisy.

As long as he stayed quite I dont think you would get any conplaints ubless you just have grouchy negibors trying to casue trouble lol.

Well we put them on the back side and side of our house away from our horrible neighbor. The people on his other side have chickens too, and he has complained to us several times about them, but I know that they are getting into his yard, there is no way ours will, they are completely on the other side of our yard. So I know he would probably call animal control on us, since we have had lots of issues with this neighbor. So I'm sure once he finds out we have chickens, which we can have up to 12 if they have a fully fenced in run or yard and a coop. I already looked it up, and there are lots of people in our area who have chickens, so I'm sure he will find away to complain about it. He complains about every little thing with everyone on our block. Crazy old man.

Well if they dont get lose then he shouldnt have anything to complain aboput.
