I posted pics of this bird a little while ago but now she is grown out a bit and gotten most of her head feathers.
She lacks any discernible stripe down the head like the others, shes from the first hatch I had 4-5 weeks ago. She just doesn’t look exactly like the rest. I have another in the house just over 2 weeks old looking the same and another almost 2 weeks old that is a lighter brown color and looking similar.
The first three photos are of her but also there is one showing another hen (I think, I swear every time I look I see more boys lol) and you can see the other bird has the vertical stripes where the one on the right is lacking stripes but has reddish feathers tipped with a little light cream or white. Her back doesn’t have the thick vertical stripes of the others it has smaller ones.
I dunno she just seems a bit different looking to me. I’m just wondering maybe if she’s got some other gene in her.
