Well, she is still alive this morning, and is still swallowing the fluids I am giving her.
that is all. nothing new. Eyes still closed, no major movements.
Any other ideas?
Thank you.

I'm so sorry things haven't improved yet. Hopefully they will and hopefully others will see your post and have additional ideas

And so they can best help: she's not able to stand or get around at all?

No she is unable to stand and wont open her eyes.
I also am posting some pucs, b/c I am starting to wonder if she MAY have brain swelling.

Look at both eyes. One has some swelling and some oozing above it, and the other looks normal.
DH is holding her now while we wait for answers.

I did have to clean her bottom off this morning b/c she was laying in her poo.

Pics on their way!

The brick might have fallen on her and in response she was flighty and knocked the perch down and there she lay. Have you given her some boiled egg? Do you have electrolytes and vitamins in the water?
Everything you can do to boost her immune system would be good right now, so it can aid her in healing.
Yogurt would be good too.
Sorry about your chickie.
I hope she gets better soon.

So sorry to hear about your hen. Her eye does look swollen. I think if her brain was swelling, she'd probably be gone by now. Do her feet respond when you put your fingers under them, or are they limp? The best you can do is keep her comfortable and continue with fluids. Our good thoughts are with you. Lynn

Try pulling her eyes open...gently pull up on the top lid while pulling down on the bottom. If they get a respiratory infection it can sometimes cause their eyes to get "glued" shut from the infection. Sometimes it can involve just their eyes and make them not feel good.
