Quote:
no i set them on the 18th and thinking back it was later in the day too, but the second chick that hatched was a full size if you go back to my first post on this thread and look at egg 22 that is which one it came from, but if this was caused by high temps which i do not believe it was, well then the chicks seem to be doing just fine and i have a nice good pip out of another egg and a super small one out of another but i will keep you posted i have 12 hours here at work then i go home so i will let you know what happens trust me, and wishing

you some good luck and many pips soon

Oh, how cool, bockbock!! Thank you for allowing me to live vicariously through your hatch! LOL What breed are those two adorable little licorace sticks??

to tell the truth i am not sure lol the little one i named UNO as it is my very first hatched chick ever is a silkie but not sure if pure or crossed tho and the bigger one i have no clue i have to wait a lil longer to see how s/he turns out

yes it is is a silkie now just to wait to see if it is a cross and to see with what, are silkies the only ones to have 5 toes and feather foots?

No there are some others. I was just looking at my catalog this morning and saw some. I will check, be right back.
Sultans have them, salmon favorolles too. Both those can be bantams.

Your first chick looks like it might have the silkie gene in it.... from a distance one would say it's a black silkie chick... but like me within a few days you will be able to tell for sure
