It looks like someone has figured out how to vote over and over again for the other kid.

I voted for Olivia earlier today and she was up by almost 200. I checked the counts a few minutes ago and she was behind by 100. Then I checked again a little while later, and she was down by almost 200. This had me wondering, so I refreshed the page every few seconds and the other count just kept going up 6 and 7 votes at a time.

Someones just sitting there voting over and over. I saw the 'disable cookies' thread. Is that how they are doing it?

Edited to add: I wrote down the counts the last time I checked them, about 10 minutes ago. The other count went up 180 votes in that short time, Olivia's went up 47.

I was the one who posted the disable cookies post. I emailed the sponsering site and asked them what was the policy for a family of 4 or a classroom of kids who wanted to vote from the same computer. My reason for wanting to know was because each person in my family wants to vote and we only have 1 computer. It never crossed my mind that it could be used to cheat. I must be too honest.

He just gained 1000 votes in 2 hours, the same time frame he surged ahead last night! The librarian says the parents told them that their school is "keeping the computer labs open after school so kids who didn't get to vote in school can vote", but COME ON!

That is soooooooo not legitimate. It makes me so mad. IT's A KIDS CONTEST, for crying out loud..... WHAT ON EARTH?

Go to the vote page and click 'view current results' then refresh the page every 5 seconds or so.

Somebody is on a mission! It's a little sad. In my mind I can picture someone (the mother maybe) sitting in front of a desktop pc with a laptop beside it, foaming at the mouth with some kind of evil laugh going on.... voting on both computers over and over and over and over and over.....

Can just picture it so lets say ifthe computer labs open they may have a sing up saying vote for him on every single computer. Parents can get so ubseased with wining by cheating Im for Olivia posting here for fair votes.
