Update....the chick was killed before it hatched :( #8

I don't think she killed the chick.....I think she got off her nest and the others got to it....she was doing so well setting her eggs, and I went out there tonight to seperate her into a dog kennel but I was too late. Oh, and I have 2 other broodies now....a second BO and a silver phoenix...don't know what the SP is gonna set, she's so tiny!!! It'll be funny seeing her trying to steal the other hens' eggs....she get like three of them and they'll all be poking out all over the place!

I don't know if I'm gonna let them try again with the broody thing....I was so freakin excited, and now I'm just disappointed and sad

I reeeeeeeeaaaallly hate dealing with broodies. Much easier with a bator but, they do have a higher hatch rate.
