Woke up late this morning, went to check the incubator, and heard peeping as soon as I got to the doorway!
I decided to do a trial run with the bator, using my own eggs, not really expecting anything to come of it...just a learning experience really. I thought I'd noticed movement in the eggs last night, but put it off as wishful thinking. So glad I had a brooder box ready as a "just in case".
Say hello to our newest addition, a Mottled Cochin mix...
Anxiously awaiting the arrival of an EE mix and a Silky (due to hatch out today) and tomorrow we'll hopefully welcome 3 more EE mixes (put them in the bator a day later than the original 3).
Already planning the next hatch!!!
