Make sure you put the coop up off the ground on blocks! Leaving wood on the ground will drastically decrease it's lifetime.

DOH..I feel like this is taking forever...we should have bought that dumb 10x12 shed on clearance for $775 and had it shipped for $300...done..

Treated lumber or not sitting on the ground moisture will collect and it is going to rot.

Also, if you don't raise it up, You are just going to give the RATS a great place to hide.
