Wicked, I did a bit of photo editing... Is this better?

"The best image quality at a given bit-rate (or compression rate) "
I am talking about stuff my hub was schooled for, not me. So hard for me to explain.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_compression
I am linking stuff for better explanations. Hub is not here, sorry. When he plays with photo shop, he uses BMP/Bitmap. He can zoom into a remove a single pixel at a time or alter what ever. Bits are in jpegs too

Hahahahaha! I showed this to him last night.
OMG..
First thing he said was his name is Bob!:old Not hub cap..:lau
Second thing he got feisty.. (hehe) and said to stop quoting him!:old
Then he wrote this down for me in all capital letters!
His important shots or subjects, he does highest quality possible, Raw format. Save to Tif format which is loss less but gigantic files.
When he works with photo shop, bitmap for fooling around with my crap  as he put it.. but tif on the quality stuff.
If the photo is captured jpeg from the camera, :old it will always be a compressed file no matter how you save it later.
If you save to jpeg compression, use the highest quality available on the setting because it is a compression format. Designed for space saving storage.
Bob..hehe.. :oldSays he has 5 hard drives and is not concerned with space when taking wedding photos and important subject matter.
Also left some choice and colorful words about dropping my tablet in a bucket of water if I keep exploiting him on the Internet...:lau:lau:lau
Grabbed a beer out of the frig and gave me a crooked pirate smile.
I think I am on probation now!:lau

It's all kinda like me trying to fix someone's air conditioner because my husband is qualified to do so.

I tried to get him involved with byc and stuff, it's not his cup of tea I suppose. He wasn't really mad, just thinks I spend too much time yacking with my thumbs as he puts it.. I am outside in the barn now and most of the time. Alone all day. Gotta yack with somebody before someone see's me talking to the animals and commits me to the nut house!:lau

gimme a minute to let me edit my input in.......

i like the 1st BUT i think that the shadow is too much, she looks like she is wearing a cloak, you lose too much of the wing feathers

very cute but the focus is on the grass, the ducklings face is blurry
what are you using to take pics??

lol, the focus is on his nostril

love the 1st, head angle, lighting isnt bad
i like the bird in 2nd but not the pose
sorry

but she's still a cutie!! :love

i like the babies but the backdrop is blah,
the group photo has too much going on
really like #3, but is it a square image? can you crop some of the lower grass
#4 is nice too but his head is slightly blurry, around the eye/neck

i like a better but i wonder if you can crop it a bit to focus more on the bird, less tree less sky?

like this (this is just from paint so quality is gone but gives the idea

I don't like the background on the keets either. I tried to fix it and failed miserably...:hmmI really like what Banty did to the pic! :ya Hail Banty!! :bow
The group photo DOES have a lot going on...and all I see is their blue heads. (How do they have such blue heads...talking so much they've ost oxygen?? They're different from the parents in that respect...lol.
#3 has chickens in it and I was trying to crop them out and still adhere to required picture size...lol. I like the stance in #4 better, but I noticed the blurry too. :(
I have a nice, clear pic of the adult guineas but their standing in the shade.:smack

I can totally crop the A pic. :thumbsup
