Wow, I just went back through mine on the larger screen and have whacked a few myself. Not nearly as clear blown up as they look on a phone.

So I'm kinda down to these 4, and I think A & D are my favs.

And I love this, but "non-duck" people may not get the cuteness factor and Phoebe's head is a bit blurred.

so this is how i did it, i was trying to get the tree to work as a 'frame for the bird and get rid of some of the blindingly bright sky, see the lines i made, i kinda just did that and kept cutting away until i got it where i wanted it to the below:View attachment 1125305

Does it still meet the requirements for the size/quality specified?

I LOVE the dark duck in A. I didn't mention it as a choice but it's equally good. The only thing I can comment on is pic C. I love it but I wonder if the plants obscur your duckie too much?

I have bright orange buckets as nest boxes. Hey, they were a dollar cheaper than white.

They can't miss them and they'll be safe since orange is a safety color.
I'd pick the orange if they were a dollar cheaper too!

Thanks! I think you are right about C. Someone asked if I could crop more, and I did, with room to crop further, but then its just too "in-your-face".

Oh dear, i got several decent pics
the last few days. Having a tough time narrowing them down.

could be the upload but all of them get grainy when i expand them

#1, love the image, but kinda over exposed - too 'bright', also too much greenery, but might be able to crop
#2 too much foreground, wish his head was turned just a bit to catch more light on his face but i like the 2tone backdrop it complements him
#3 unfortunately fuzzy, her bill is even smudged like she shook her head,but i love the action of the wings
#4 super cute, but his leg is see-through and and tail is being wiggled, also dark
#5 the grey is being lost to the grass, which is the point of the wild coloration but not so good for photography
#6 cute hiding place, love the lighting on the face, needs cropping
#7 would be better if they werent so on top of each other, malibu's bill is fading into the dark grass
#8 love the preening image, great lighting, and shadow, could use minor cropping
#9 wish the camera had been a little closer to the ground but love the way they are watching you, i think cropping would lose too much of the contrast
#10 dark, and blue toned, but good framing
#11 could be considered busy, but at least they are all looking at the camera which adds to the depth of the image
