We finally have our flock settled no more roosters and harmony among the girls.my soon to be 3 year old granddaughter named our girls. Our 19 week old lady bug started laying this week. Our other 19 week old Spiderman looks like a black sex link with a pea comb she has feathers on her legs, her legs were black but now are golden yellow. She shows no sign of laying. Ghost is 16 weeks and is going to be larger than her older sisters white with a pea comb and green legs. Puff likely 15 weeks an EE black with copper chest and crown, black legs pea comb. Vampire seems to be 15 weeks, might be crossed Black Australorp has some white tips on her wings and around the comb. Finally we have crow a black EE, black legs and pea comb. Crow is the youngest not sure maybe 13 or 14 weeks.

Well the pea comb with green legs could very well be an Easter Egger so hopefully you get some colored eggs.
I am not too good with trying to figure out breeds, sorry.[/QUOTE
These are our first time chickens and they are barnyard mix so it’s a role of the dice. We are having a whale of a time!

Just curious what your thoughts are. We are keeping our fingers crossed, hope to maybe get a coloured egg.
Agree with sourland-- they look great. I would say you have a good chance of getting green or olive eggs from at least one because the ones with pea combs and beards must be Easter egger or Ameraucana crosses. All are definite females, too, and should be laying any day now.

Fingers crossed hopefully a coloured egg for the Granddaughter......Papa would be excited too lol

The heavy black one with the reddish neck feathers could be a black copper Marans cross or maybe a Brahma/black sex link cross. Either way, you'll probably get brown eggs from her.

I am not sure about the splash colored bird with dark legs. I'm not seeing traits of any specific breed but I'd say it is clearly a mix.
