Well he did say the one we call Crow was pure Ameraucana but I have my doubts. I'm just happy with what I have and the suspense is healthy for the heart lol. Good luck on your end as well.If you said hatchery birds, I would give a better chance.

Unless they really do have pure Ameraucana's of both genders and are careful with their breedings, then you might have some pure Ameraucana's there which would definitely lay some blue eggs.
Only time will tell.
I too am waiting for my first BCMxCCL pullet to lay....she looks so ready and was pacing and checking nests just now.
This one looks like it could be a pure Am.Well he did say the one we call Crow was pure Ameraucana but I have my doubts. I'm just happy with what I have and the suspense is healthy for the heart lol. Good luck on your end as well.
Betting she's a cross, interesting spots of color on head. This one with the copper breast and crown we call puff she has the same build and cheeks as Crow.
aart those are beautiful healthy birds. What breed are they? Do you have a close up of Willie?I get ya about the suspense and heart, I just ran down after hearing a big egg song ruckus to find this, but no egg. Willie watching over the situation is a pretty good sign an egg is imminent. Even after 5 years the POL pullets still get me going.
