I'm an ebay power seller (not chicken related) - don't be afraid to open a paypal dispute for non-receipt of item - I've done it before as a buyer and it's very straightforward. Paypal keeps track of sellers with these transactions and they're onto their tricks. It's unfortunate that those internal black marks can't be seen by the public so buyers can avoid those sellers.
It seems so at-odds to read a nice description and pictures of an auction you're thinking of buying - they lure you in with an upbeat and winning sales pitch....then the tone gets mean and militant when it comes to the "fine print". I've been burned by bidders, too, but I never leave negative feedback and I don't "yell" at my customers before they've even bought anything!
