I really like the coloring of the partridge, but that #2 doesn't look right to me with the feathers coming in on her wings, too hard for a Silkie.

I was told that partridges are female if they have that "barring" or striping look on their feathers........so yours are female...

Thank you again for your help. I'm so clueless as a first time chick owner. Theses are the photos of the whites and blacks. I'm sorry some of them are blurry. Any ideas on pullets or roo?

Also, I ordered two buffs from Ideal but I don't know which ones they are. They all look the same color to me.

Do any look buff colored to you?

Second round, it's hard for me to tell. They kind of all look like pullets, but clearer shots of their combs would make it easier.

Just so you know, I am basing my opinion on what I am seeing with my own Silkies who are about the same age and observing them, their behavior and really comparing the differences up close on the ones I know are boys....
I think of your whites you have 2 and 6 boys, and blacks 1 and 4. Black 6 needs better photos, one is too blurry and the other is a bad angle.
I hope this helps. I have seen the dominant cockerel really showing his attitude with a cochin cockerel in with him this week and I am seeing too the development in his wattles and reddish tinge to this comb.
I hope I a close for you, but I am by far an expert.
