Pretty! I really wanted some Delawares, but will have to wait for now. They grow so fast! Mine are outgrowing their brooder housing too. It's too cold for mine to go outside in the coop yet. Let us know how well the egg laying goes with the Delaware girls.

Yes, they're too big to be inside in cardboard boxes taped together and too small to let just run around. Too easy of prey for that red tailed hawk that hangs around my house.

The neatest part was that I saw Captain Lafitte come out of his egg. He hatched 12 hours after everyone else so he was trying to play "keep up" and ran around wet when everyone else was all fluffed out and dry. He had my heart at that moment.

He doesn't share treats very well. He thinks all the treats are for him.
