Out of the eggs that hatched I decided to only keep 7 Muscovy ducklings.
I lost 1 yesterday, it was the baby that had isses when it hatched, it had to stay in the hatcher for almost 2 days, it was just really weak. The other 4 Blue Fawns, 1 Black Pied & 1 Cream(?) are doing great but i am pretty sure that the Cream colored baby is a boy...
It's about 1 week old now but is already getting 'huffy puffy' sometimes, especially when i am taking pictures, lol. he will huff, puff and them peck the camera. he's being a little pinchy with me also. I'm not too worried abotu it being a boy, i kept it to see what color it was going to be since it is just barely chocolate tinted but has a blue beak (probably a lilac).
It's unbelievable how stinking cute the Blue Fawn's are!
