I just now checked out the pair on eggbid, I've heard so much negativity about hatchery birds so the comment about McMurray's SPWs being pretty nice and then seeing those two McMurray birds I definitely have more hope for my new flock!

You should look for someone local to you that is willing to split a chick order with you. Lots of people will get together and order 25 chicks (don't all have to be the same breed) and just split them when they arrive. You just need to find some other local farmers.

I didn't get them from a hatchery, I bought eggs from Ebay and hatched them. The breeder showed me pix of the hens and roo. They looked like nice birds.
One of the reasons that I thought maybe the feather sexing thing was correct is that the one with the most feathers is now laying feathers over the back and they look more like the feathers on the hens than on the roos. Of course I have never had this breed of chick before so I am completely in the dark. Since I hatched these myself though I have looked at them since they were hatched and two had wing feathers starting within a couple of days and the third still hasn't got many.
So these look like silver penciled? Thanks for your comments.

i got mine on ebay too! and the only person i know on there that sells silver pencileds is TWOBUCKLAB aka floridatreasures .... is that who you got urs from? cuz if so are chicks are full bros and sis' lol

Yes, that is the one I got mine from. Are yours grown? Do you have pix? I am dying to see how mine will look when they are grown.

I just have 3. I actually just got done talking to her and have 7 more on the way to me for next week. Mine are not grown. The pictures on here are pretty recent. I try and take more when I get the chance.
