Updated PICS on pg. 3!! Silver Penciled Wyandotte chicks

As promised, pic of my new batch of silver penciled Wyandotte chicks. They came in just this morning from a Friday hatch.

You can see one is significantly lighter than the rest. I don't know what that means for it's color long term but it should be interesting to see.

LOL. I didn't go through all the wait and worry to let these precious little peeps go!

Granted I probably won't keep all of them in the end. I ordered 27 Wyandottes (26 came in alive) and only want to keep 15. Will sell the extras when I can sex them.

I hope you can get yourself some more SP chicks before too long! It does seem that my SP chicks look pretty similar to your SP chicks so I am guessing we both have the same thing

Those look pretty much like mine. I have a gold one too which I think is a roo. The other two are hens.

Good luck with your eggs! I have about 50 divided into two bators right now. Some have just been added so haven't been determined as developing yet so the numbers will come down some. 11 are due in two days.

Unfortunately I'm in NH, way to far from you for swapping! You really should just bite the bullet and order a bunch from McMurray. I paid $121.17 for my 28 chicks ($21 was shipping). Against my better judgment I put them on my credit card since I didn't want to wait and save up, lol. I definitely don't regret it though, these babies are super cute!
