Everything happens for a reason. Maybe these kittens will be a blessing to your DH, since the ALS thing has to be scary. Or maybe mothering the kittens will keep you from stressing over your DH. Either way, go for it. If they are there, then it's meant to be.

Thanks for the encouragement and kind words! I got them yesterday and we are in love! They seem to be around 5-6 weeks, precious, lapping the KMR from a saucer and using the litter box. They are currently residing in my daughter's bathroom. She was up before the chickens this morning checking on them.

I got my two kittens a week ago....they were abandon in a ladies garage.
They are so cute too........Looks like two little tortus shells......
mine are calicos......both girls. Thanks for saving them!

Mine are 5-6 six old, they are using the litter box and eating dry kitten food.
