Upgrading coop materials

I was thinking some more, and when it comes down to it, we have oodles of acreage and it takes no time to build a small coop for 2 birds. So really, my husband and I could knock out a tiny coop with a separate yard in a day or two max

That sound good , we weren't prepared for the abuse our silkies got . The Icelandics were relentless.. pecking at them non stop . We also have acres and acres , added on a 6 x6 foot coop to the coop with a 10x10 foot run. The three silkies are happy and safe .

Yes, we can't plan for the future because luckily we don't know what it will bring ,
