Whenever you encounter a Bucket O' Bits at a yard sale or whatever ALWAYS buy it. A cornucopia of weird hardware pieces for those who don't mind their construction a little ADHD. The loop is a very long nail I hammered back around.

I am all for making chicken keeping as cheap as possible. If it’s on the side of the road and it looks like something I can use, it’s going in the back of truck lol
