Upper beak broken/missing

brought a new golden comet home, but didn't notice until later that a good portion of her upper portion of her beak is missing.

What can/should be done about this? Any suggestions to ensure her health?

Is she a chick or an adult, is it possible she's been debeaked.

I have a rhode island red that tore most of her top beak. they can get caught on metal food/waterers. It grew back in about a month. Don't worry.
