Hello all! I am hoping to find some help. My favorite hen has come down with a respiratory infection flare up.
When I got her I didn’t know she had it but we’ve found it off before.
She is around 3/4. Eye crust, some nasal drainage, did have a foul odor, sneezes. I have done the 5 days of injectable Tylan-50. She’s had vetrx, we clean her eyes and do eye drops. She’s eating ok, drinking as normal. Her smell got a lot better thankfully. But now I’m seeing some greenish yellow poop.
She is separated and everyone else is not exhibiting signs. We got her from a gross coop a few years ago and it seems it pops back up every now and again. This time I just feel like we can’t shake it.

I’m not sure how to proceed. She lost a little weight but isn’t skinny yet. Still eating, drinking, and all! But I don’t know if I should do more Tylan or let it run it’s course.
If you’ve come this far in my novel thank you lol

What dose of Tylan50 have you been giving? Did you know you can give injectable Tylan50 orally instead of by injection? That's a lot of needles sticks 3 times a day for 5 days, she must be sore!

Having a bad odor may be Infectious Coryza instead of Mycoplasma. Do you see any lesions or white/yellow pasty material inside the beak that might indicate Canker instead?
Respiratory disease like Infectious Coryza and Mycoplasma make birds carriers for life, so it's not uncommon for them to have reoccurring bouts of infection.

For Infectious Coryza, a sulfa antibiotic is the treatment of choice. Sometimes Tylan can be given in conjunction with the sulfa medication. You can purchase it online.

Hello! The information I got was 1/2cc per bird once a day in the breast. For oral I was told 3 times a day and unfortunately I board my chickens so I would have a hard time getting there with work. I was looking over her yesterday and I did actually find the yellow buildup in her mouth, that’s a first for me! I wasn’t sure what to do about that.. or how to clean it out. Her eyes were less crusty yesterday but some bubbles are still hanging out. I do have a picture, it’s not the best because she was moving around so much. Usually I have a second pair of hands out there. I appreciate all of your help here, I hadn’t considered Coryza just Mycoplasma

The odor is very likely coming from the lesions in her beak. Looks like Canker.
Metronidazole is used to treat canker, but looks like she may have secondary infection with the bubbles in the eyes. I don't know if you can use Tylan with Metronidazole or not.
@Eggcessive or @dawg53 may know if that's doable.

Canker is contagious and she will be a carrier from now on. And can (and has) had reoccurring infection. It can be passed on in shared water and feed. Acidified copper sulfate might help manage outbreaks in the flock.

Is vet care an option for you?

Thank you for all of the information, I'm doing a deep clean on the coop this weekend just in case. I don't sell or breed, just pets so I want them to be as comfortable as possible.
Vet care is always an option, however, we do not have vets that really see chickens. I struggled getting a syringe from my vet for the Tylan unfortunately.
I usually purchase form Twin City Poultry for my medications so I'll take a look on there to see what is available. I didn't want to cull because she is my favorite but I also want to make sure she isn't going to just be miserable.
