. Sometimes the words just won't come out. I was trying to talk yesterday about the store we'd gone to...started with a W...I spit out 3 different W words, but none were the right one.

My brain and mouth just don't seem to connect well when I'm pregnant! Brain and fingers, either, when typing!

Uhm.. isnt that a good thing that she got the refund AND got to keep it?
hu.gif
this way she can use the $$ refunded to fix the bator... right? Or am I seeing it differently?

Sharon, glad something good came out of it - sorry you had to endure such nastiness throughout this entire process.

Doesnt say much for the seller in not responding to the claim either, but then again...didnt really think they would.

Glad you got some recourse

, even if you are out shipping charges. Hope you can get your bator fixed.

actually, true.. $85.oo is a good price even for a bator like that which needs a little fixing..

I would buy them all day long , fix them and resell them ...

a watering system for what?

I make my own for watering the chickens and also for the incubators.. all it takes is a float and a few cheap fittings..

Oh! Could you start a waterer thread and post plans? (Like you don't have anything better to do...LOL)

Maybe we could all grovel...

So THAT'S it!!!! I've never been pregnant but ever since bringing my daughter home I've had the same troubles. Glad I'm not alone, but this may mean you're in for a lot of years of trying to get your brain communicating with other body parts.

I second this! LOL

I have quite a few things that I have built.. maybe I should just compile them all on a thread of do it yourself and save $$$$$$$..

I would have to get my camera going and take pictues,,,

other people could add to the thread also..

these are the things I have built in the past year: water trough hooked up to a garden hose..

trap nest for catching chickens for egg monitoring..

whizbang chicken plucker..

drum type chickn plucker..

automatic water tray in sportsman incubator..

126 egg incubator.. w/turner and auto water tray.. solid state thermostat and actual heating coil.

quail cage with 3 access doors on top and a nest box for egg laying.

drawer tracks on the sportsman hatching tray so I can pull it out like a kitchen cainet drawer for egg inspection or for completely removing the tray....

and my next project is a row of 12 egg laying nests with pull out nests which will be easily removable for easy cleaning..

2 more full sized chicken coops with fenced in yards..

goose and duck nests make out of 55 gal barrels cut the long way to make covers over the nests.. 20 minutes to build two of them..
