the berries around here would make me so happy to jar them into jellies and jams razzberries-blueberries-blackberries....apples up the ying yang from the orchards...

Has anyone make Elderberry Jam? It is one of my families favorites! I so wish I could come. I am going to miss reading this thread. Hope everyone has a great time.

Just home from an overnighter at gretchens farm..her and my daughter went horseback riding today while her husband and I did some work on the farm...right to my hatcher when I got home..pretty sure my first 2 LAV silkie babies in there!!! Still a few eggs hatching will get a good look in the morning when I can open it up

serious nat...have hatched out hundreds of silkies...never had little ones colored like this!! Threw 2 eggs from this pullet in with an egg order at the end of last month..she pm'd me the other day she got a lav baby out of one of the eggs..these are the first eggs I hatched from this pullet..have a couple more that should hatch Tuesday
