serious nat...have hatched out hundreds of silkies...never had little ones colored like this!! Threw 2 eggs from this pullet in with an egg order at the end of last month..she pm'd me the other day she got a lav baby out of one of the eggs..these are the first eggs I hatched from this pullet..have a couple more that should hatch Tuesday

I was just curious to see what others had at home.
Pheasants are very handsome....but thats all I need is to populate my local park with escape pheasants!

I missed the overnighter comment..rofl...she's about a 2 hour ride from my farm...had 3 of my kids and the wife with me..we were pretty well behaved..I only filled her sippy cup up once with the "goose" last night..gretch, my daughter and my daughters friend went on about a 6 hour ride..they were all pooped whenrhey got back..Marty (gretchens hubby) and I were cutting down monster size trees around the stable
 
I know elderberries are hard to find around. I have 4 gallons in the freezer..my sister gathers them from out in Western New York. I want to try to make some wine also. The birds love them so you have to get them quick...lucky for me she did. I plan on bringing a tree out this fall and see where it goes. All these chickens are going to be amazing! Lav Silkies! Wow!
