OK so thats what I have to look for then! I thought they would hatch out lav looking-like no strips....hmmmm thats where I am at now all I have are splits breeding. I need to get a few more birds that are fluffier and better feathering for my pen-Im not a huge breeder/shower/sales person like you just a small time back woods hick with a smalltown hobby LOL...Mine do have fabulous toes spacing and such though..But they are not show quality-I know that for sure-they need work but as long as I have the Lav gene in them Im good to keep plugging into the project....I guess I have to keep upgrading upgrading upgrading! hahaha Bob I have a serious question. My roos seem to keep producing silver/gold in their hackle feather??? I have culled for that every time and wouldnt put those into the breeding Im seeing it show through one of my roos again--how on earth do you get rid of that??? How bad will that hurt the lav chicks that hatch-??will it show in a lav chick when it grows up????

Got GREAT news on the house yesterday!

It's ours!

So, this time next week, we will be running around trying to get everything set up, while Jeremy and Bob are sleeping off their hangovers! Oh, Nat, make sure you give Bob specific boundaries so that we don't end up fishing him out of the pond! Are there any hills for him to roll down?
