hey woman so I have another broody dang it-so Im going to use her for your baby ducks-now Im a little ignorant on hatching ducks and so will use her-if you want 2 babies how many eggs should I put under her to get the 2 do you think? 4...6...??

PS/ The kitten I found was FIV/Leukemia negative so now pictures in another few days................her eye is very infected, she may lose sight in it, but that's OK, she's mine now..........

Yeah, about an hour ago, I can't believe it - went in the basement and ran out hearing the dog barking like crazy. He was inside and heard the commotion
I am thinking it was a fox, but jeesh, Agatha was my FAVORITE hen. I guess it was the same thing that got my BLRW's and the buff wyandotte chick last week. Sigh.....................I am so disgusted right now

My DH has an event in the town he works for and of course the date is . . . Oct. 2nd!

Which means I can't come to Chickenstock seeing how we are 8 hours away!

I could come myself, but seeing how in all my 46 years I've never driven more than 3 hours straight, I probably wouldn't try!

Plus the fact (I know you will find this very weird!) I've never been away from my DH for more than 24 hours, in 26 years.

So somebody better hook up the skype or webcam so I can get a glimpse!

I've been holding out, hoping his event wouldn't come together with all the budget cuts going on, but it looks like it's a go.

If I get real desperate, maybe I'll get a running start and jump on the back of Gretchen's bumper and hitch a ride, she's gotta pass close to me somewhere!
