My flock is fighting some unknown respiratory illness AND cocci...I am stressed to the max!! My oldest chickens, now 7 and 8 months old, are weezing (gurgling lungs) and a few have bubbly eyes. (I quarantined the new birds, but 3 of my hens got out of their runs and went into the coop w/ the new birds...I'm thinking they helped tranmit whatever virus/illness I brought home from the swap...all of the birds are still in quarantine.) I have never dealt w/ sick birds before, and I'm freaking out. We have teramyicin in 1/2 of the waterers and corid in the other 1/2.

Added to this stress is that Fausto has bladder control issues. It is like having a horse pee in the house. After urine samples, bloodwork, and now fecal samples...the vets can't find anything wrong with him. He is now peeing in his sleep.

I could sure use some positivity right about now...I'm very near my breaking point.

Aww that sucks!!! I doubt I can do much from so far away, but let me know!

Just noticed one of my leghorns is looking a little down and poofy - I'm giving her yogurt which she seems to like. She's one of my layers, so I'll send good thoughts for yours and mine.
