Just about have the coop complete! Added more vents too... I think the kids did a GREAT job painting it too!!

Now, I'm not sure how the heck I'm gonna move it into place and lift it 32" off the ground!

And plenty of ventilation! Four brawny guys, one on each side, should be able to heft it up onto whatever you're putting it...offer them a beer...or an egg

What an adorable coop! I am really impressed by everyone's creativity here. I love the heat register as ventilation. Very clever.

It's prettysimple really. It's a 4'W x 4'D x 5"H (front) 4'H (back) and will sit on top od a base that is 32" so there is a decent amount of room under it for the birds. :

Here is a picture when I put the entire unit together for a "Test Run" to make sure it all fit!

The roof is shingled, paid $10 on craigslist for them, the window was garbage picked (it's 36" x 20" ). So far I have about $350 into it and all said and done should be right around $500 in materials I'm guessing (including hardware cloth)..?? But who's counting anyway? (besides my wife??)
