Alabama. The entire egg is Tan-ish white-ish other than the speckles.

What a nice thing to do! I doubt that they will hatch, but if they do i would suggest taking them to an expert. Baby birds are a TON of work but well worth it.

They look like Bulbul eggs. They aren't so difficult to raise & any rehab you ask will laugh you out the door for not just throwing them away. Good luck!

There are very few bulbul species in the Americas.

Tan-ish..okay, that rules a lot of things out. Were there any nest remnants at all? Nests are pretty sturdy, there should have been something left of it. If she didn't see anything it was probably in a cavity in the tree. In which case you're probably looking at titmouse, chickadee, or nuthatch based on the size.
