*URGENT* Creating A Brooder for Young Cockatiels?

So cute, makes me miss my 'tiels so much. I agree with Henniesinmyheart, spend lots of time with him, talk to him, especially while feeding, but really all the time. Put him/her on your lap or shoulder while watching TV or computer time, set him on the dresser while you're getting dressed, basically have them with you all the time, except in the kitchen. Too many accidents happen to birds in the kitchen, and BTW, if you have teflon cookware, get rid of it. It gives off toxic fumes that kill birds, same with self cleaning ovens.

Try getting coco to sit on your computer but don't let him/her chew on the keys they may come off.(My cockatiel has tried biting keys off,and I lost some of my TV remote's buttons from my cockatiel chewing on them. )

I put Coco on my lap when I'm watching tv, but he/she just tries to fly off because he/she gets bored haha. Coco has chewed a lot of things already, but what worries me the most is chewing on electrical cords that are plugged in, which if not supervised, Coco will do. Also Coco likes to poop a lot, what should I do? Should I buy a stand for him/her to sit on? Thanks :)

You can buy or make a stand, if you prefer, but if you want him to bond with you, nothing beats personal contact. I had a "poop shirt" that I would put on, or carry a baby diaper to put under the birds. There are people that have taught birds to only poop in the cage or on a stand, I never did, but you can google that if you're interested.

Be patient. S/he is young and exploring everything specially his wings and what they can do. Get treats and toys to keep him from getting bored while sitting on your lap. Older birds can bond so you starting so young shouldn't have a problem if you spend lots of time with it and keep it feeling safe and secure. Just remember it's a bratty baby that wants too explore everything. It's your job too keep it exploring only safe things.

Ok I'm not sure if this is good news or bad news. Yesterday Coco loved attention and was screaming for it the whole day and I spent like 4 hours with him/her. But today Coco doesn't really want anything to do with me and runs away when I'm by it's cage, yesterday it kept trying to open the doors. What's going on??
