URGENT DYING CHICKEN PLEASE HELP

You might have a better chance to rehome birds that are parasite free.

But perhaps you might rather consider butchering some of them, chicken soup is very tasty and goes a long way.
The other birds are parasite free. This chicken doesn't go with any of my birds that are for sale.
And I'm not eating birds that aren't meant for it. I've raised them since they were chicks.

I've treated for mites recently. I used DE and put it on every bird and in all their many dust holes
DE doesn't do anything for mites, or lice.

I use Permethrin Dust. I got the Garden, & Poultry Dust which is just Off Brand Permethrin, & is cheap.

Lice are Whitish, yellow in appearance, & hang out in the feathers. I have a lice problem, & will be treating the birds a second time.

What I use.

DE does help with mites and lice. It dehydrates them. It's not a cure really, it's more of a prevention because it takes a while to work.

Ok the bug i saw was kinda reddish colored and clear-looking.. maybe it was a mite?
