Urgent help catching chickens

My chickens got out and we can't catch them. They are in the woods and are in a grove of blackberry bushes and we can't get them out. How can I catch them?!

Hopefully they will return to their coop this evening. If not find where they are roosting and catch them after dark. Do not chase them as that will only cause them to run further away.

You ever hear the old saying that "all chickens come home to roost?" Well, I panicked when mine got out the first time (from a hole they made under the fencing) and the two we couldn't find came home on her own. I got in the habit of calling and talking to them when I feed them, so they now come when I call them. I wish you luck- just keep an eye on the coop tonight and let them in when they come home. Or else, maybe you can find them when they roost, and bring them home. Best wishes!
