Urgent Help... Duck eggs

Okay. I'll mark the eggs now and start making a notebook about the eggs... Ive never turned eggs before do i turn an egg the opposite way I've put it one and then the other way?

I mark an x on one side draw a faint line to the other side mark a circle follow the line back and forth. you don't want it to turn the full way round or (at least early on) you risk detaching the cords that suspend the yolk in the middle of the egg.

Looks like that turner is intended for the eggs to be laying on their sides, and the eggs get rolled from side to side. It only takes a quarter of a turn, every couple hours or so, for an egg to be adequately rotated.

yes side down. I didn't see a pic. but end up wont work for the way I described for turning them.

pictures of what I mean. roll gently from O to X along the line. leave on x side for a few hours. roll back along the line to the O.

ETA: usually i would put the marks on the pointy end for incubation because you're gonna want to be able to see the air cell while candling on the rounded end.

Not all egg turners are designed for eggs to be set on end. Many require the eggs to be on their sides.

hi, just wanted to thank everyone, all the eggs are doing great and they are turing automatically, it just had to be adjusted and the eggs were on the wrong side. Thanks again...

Looks like egg's are being held a little tight. Do those dividers adjust to egg size? If so you might have to adjust the dividers a little wider, so the eggs move.
I have similar incubator and if the eggs are fitting to tight they won't turn.
