This Ameraucana Hen has a very short crest, almost imperceptible and the placement of the black skin differs compared to her sisters who have reddish skin.

This Ameraucana Chicken has a larger crest, much more visible and the placement of her skin is normal with a reddish tone different from her sister's that the skin is black

Those are called the combs. I think some of them are cushion combs. Idk why they're colored differently though, I'm not real great at genetics, lol

The ones with the bigger combs are bigger because the are males. They are all pea combs, some aren't quite "perfect" because of their genetics.
