Hello all,
This is my first post on this forum and i'm finding myself in a bit of a disaster.
I have an octagon eco 20 with 24 large fowl eggs , today is the 19/20 day. Yesterday I removed the autoturn and filled both channels with water thinking it would be humid enough. This morning when I woke I found 8 eggs had tried to pip but couldnt break through the membrane because it had dried out and white :(
I went into panick mode and added a cloth of warm water to boost humidity up and sprayed a mist of warm water. Then carefully poked holes in the white membrane to allow oxygen to enter.
Is this too late though? have they been shrink wrapped and require help hatching?
what else can I do?

thanks

I don't know. Maybe you could open one to see what's going on. But if it is alive then I'm sure that would not be a good idea. I know you probably should not candle them at this stage but that might give you an idea about what's going on but it could also be bad for the chick if its alive so I really don't know I'm sorry.
