Urgent is this a Roo please

Sounds to me like Rocky thinks he is a roo. Can you put this bird in a cage where Rocky can't get to him, or even see him. Better yet, can you separate Rocky from the group for a few days? If he is a roo he will start crowing in a day or two if Rocky is not around.

Looks like a pullet to me but this ^^^^ seems like good advice!

The people who know more about 'sexing" than I do say you have a girl, so you probably do. One thing you can try before rehoming Rocky is to give your timid pullet a "free shot" at expressing her opinion. Hold Rocky upside down by the feet and let her pick on him for a while. I'm told method has settled more than a few chicken disputes.

Thanks for all the advice, however there is no way I can cage Rocky, but I may be able to cage Ginge in the duck house for a couple of days. Will try and sort something out tomorrow. I am also going to try hanging Rocky upside down, if I can catch him that is!! I can see this is going to be hard work so wish me luck. I will let you know how it all goes. Many thanks to you all
