That will work, but put a thermometer in it so you know how close to put the light, you don't want to cook him

i've got a meat thermometer that's in there. it's at approx 95. i hope i can put it back in with mama soon... do you think i could do that? if so should i wait til tonight?

After dark, when mama is nested with her babies, you could try putting the egg / chick under her. But it may not work out.
