URGENT KITTEN SITUATION - New Jersey, Eastern PA BYCers

Kitten update:

The 3 kittens are recovering beautifully from their spay/neutering surgeries Sunday (except of course for the little one that we lost

).

Please spread the word to great folks you know well. I've saturated my 'networks' - everybody is at capacity, same for my friend who is fostering these beautiful babies.

Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Right here or at [email protected].

Many thanks.

Oh my goodness, that white and orange male looks EXACTLY like my boy Petals we lost to Feline Leukemia on Sept. 7 We had never heard of that before so before I get my hopes up is this boy tested/vaccinated for Feline Luekemia? That picture of him is really pulling on my heartstrings and I'm in PA.

Thanks Ginny

Hannah, I'm so sorry about Petals.

Happily the kittens mom tested negative for feline leukemia and for feline aids and so her babies are almost certainly also free of those potential health challenges, as they have all been in protective care indoors since their mom was tested. Thankfully nowadays for many cats these things are no longer a death sentence and full lives can be had but that said, it's always nice when they don't test positive.

Hi Hannah, this is me, JJ (BYC system doesn't recognize me when I check in from my work computer). The babes are in Hopewell, in Mercer County, NJ - Hopewell is 15 minutes from the PA border, closest PA town being New Hope.
I'll alert foster Mary to your potential interest and you and she can chat if you'd like so that any of your questions can be answered. If you want you can e-mail me contact info ([email protected]) - my inbox here seems to be hopelessly full! Our only concern is superb forever homes, not $.
Thanks.
JJ
