URgent Muscovy with swollen face!

I believe you need to talk with the vet something is wrong and we could go on all night trying to figure out what’s wrong and never figure it out.

Thank you for all your help. I find it hard cause the vet doesn’t seem to know to much about ducks. Which I can’t blame her she has probably never seen one as a patient before. I’m just gonna keep researching, and keep trying and praying to God this will pass. And she will get better. I’ll do everything in my power to get her healthy again.

I can only imagine how frustrating this must be, including not having an experienced avian vet to consult. I'm a researcher, too...have you seen this PoultryDVM article? It's about bumblefoot and potential complications - doesn't directly address sinus involvement, but infections may become systemic, so some sort of relationship seems reasonable to infer.

Hang in there! :hugs Best to you and Hope!

So vet gave broad spectrum antibiotics, didn’t actually see Hope, just went off what the other vet had In her notes. If this doesn’t help her I will have to take her in again. She looks a lot brighter today. Playing with the dog and eating well. She’s drinking a lot too. The wounds on her foot looks worse though. Not really open but closed over and kinda black looking.

Looks swollen from here. I'd do Warm Epsom salt soaks and keep her foot clean. You can use Vetrycin spray for wounds and infections or antibiotic ointment and wrap. It looks like something is going on but not sure if it's bumble. Hopefully the antibiotic will help.
