What were your temps during incubation? If they were running a little low, then your chickies could be planning to hatch a couple of days late!

yep-- sounds like your incubator is off in temp or humidity. If it's too dry the membrane gets tough and the chicky gets stuck in there. I had one that was stuck and helped it out, and it seemed all good for a day, then died.

It's hard to resist helping them out though!!

My temps are 101 in a still air, humidity is 70%.

If the chick can't hatch itself it isn't strong enough to survive. I learned this lesson a long time ago when I was hatching chickens, ducks, quail, and geese using Rose Colored Glasses.
