Those who shoot animals ands those who dont!

I don't have a problem with responsible hunting. I fill my freezer with God's bounty as He intended, but this is a seperate issue. This is mass slaughter. Its never good when this sort of thing starts. When the government treats an animal as a disposable pest, everyone does.

Wheres the Carolina Parakeet that darkened our skies?? People never imagined they could ever be extinct. They would fill the skies and block out the sun, but there isn't any left ....none.​

You mentioned the same thing in another thread and directed it at me...so obviously you mean something by it.
 
Yeah, I remember that thread. I didn't remember I quoted you. You just mention humans encroaching on other animals' domains alot, which is perfectly true, and I used your quotes as an excuse to bring up one of the greatest satires ever written about controlling human populations (and feeding the poor, for that matter). I'm sorry, but without your quotes my Jonathan Swift comments would have seemed alot more random than they actually were. I have no issue with you, never had, but I see where you may have got that idea, and I am sorry for it.

That being said, couldn't the government organize a charity hunt for the kangaroos? Not only could the government gain alot of proceeds from hunters paying to shoot kangaroos, but also the meat and skins could be sold for charity proceeds. They occasionally have those types of things for deer around here.
 
Well if they did have a charity hunt I am sure there would be some serious consequences from the area hunt saboteurs and the ALF.
