Helen i think we will just have to agree to disagree on this.
I see that its needed and i guess you dont.
We have differant views and thats fine.
So i wont interfere with your thread any longer.
If they could figure out another opition then good but the very idea of moving thm is just not do-able.

I signed too!

I happen to love Kiwis ( the Birds) more, but Kangaroos are cool too.
Didja know that Kangaroo is a Maori word meaning, "I don't know" ?
A white settler asked a Maori what that big hoppy thing was and the Maori said Kangaroo...and that was that....

They're doing this same crud with our American Bison...because "they competing with cattle" Where they are there ARE NO CATTLE, but some jackleg got a bug up his butt and says it's okay to shoot them in this area...:thun
 
Done Bantymum I sure hope this helps. It just dumbfounds me how heartless and cruel people are. But you know the poor kangaroos aren't able to line the governments pocketbooks otherwise the'd be living in paradise.

bantymum, i just signed the petition! i will also forward to my aunt and cousins who live in Melbourne. its like the way people view deer here in the U.S., as just a nuisance, but no one thinks about the possibility that these creatures would not run out in front of cars, destroy gardens, etc. if we (people) were not stealing their habitats.
 
My name is on there!!!! WOW..this is just shocking.....I really hope something is done about this! I posted it on my Myspace page and sent to everyone on my mailing list!!!!
