Hello all,
I am in urgent need of help. I think my female duck has Wry neck. Her neck is all bent and she can’t walk, eat or drink. I have been helping her eat and drink but she doesn’t look good. I am very worried about her and I don’t know what to do to help her. Please please please any help would be highly appreciated!!!
Thank you

My duckling had a wry neck. What is the cause of your duck's wry neck? In my case, my duckling had a vitamin deficiency, and I gave her some mealworms and feeds with vitamins. I also tried keeping her neck upright (but I don't know if this works) by putting her in a container where she can rest her head on. My duckling is fine now, I hope yours gets better! You can try some of the methods I used above if you would like :fl

I heard to give her 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex but I don’t know how to give her a tablet and she’s pretty bad. She’s barely drinking or eating as it is even with me hand feeding and watering her. This is the third day and it seems to be getting worse… I am not 100% sure what caused her wry neck but I am lost in what to do.

at that point by day 6-7 if she is still getting worse I would put her down there isn't much you can do if its neck trauma and not vitamin deficiency you can take her to the vet but generally vets can't do much for poultry in that way

I am adding a photo. This is her state at this time. I am only adding a photo for more help and information on this subject. Is this wry neck or has something else happened to her? Again I am only posting to get help and get any info on what to do to help her best and if there is a chance she can recover from this. I have tried to adjust her the best I can to try to keep her comfortable but she keeps going back this way. Thank you all for any help

yea since she keeps flopping into that position it sounds like wryneck from my experiences I would just do lots of supplements into her water and mix some food with egg and mash it up and add little water to the liquid to make it like a soup and see if she will eat that

Okay thank you for the information. Do you recommend any more supplements besides the vitamin e and the b complex ?

should I bring my duck in my house? It’s 100 degrees outside so I didn’t know if it would be okay if she came into a 70-72 house.
