Urgent. Please help with some advice or knowledge of what this could be? And what I need to do. She

Taking her to vet today. For anyone else going through this I will post results later. Thank you very much for your help. I look to BYC for pretty much everything chicken. Lol

Your vet will probably biopsy the lesion or at least remove it. You might mention what the pathologist said it looked like--myoma or fibroma. Good luck.
 
Forgive me for not returning with the update.
Doc sent the tumor off to be examined and diagnosed. It turns out it is Gallid Herpesvirus. Also known as avian herpes. Cancerous. Normally when chicken raisers have an issue like this they kill the flock as it is contagious to other chickens. So far studies show that it isnt contagious to humans. Because Squirt is a favorite, we separated her and will build her own separate coop and run. We will not eat her eggs and keep her comfortable and love on her until she goes. She is not in any pain as she no longer has the cyst. I check her and the others periodically and so far so good.
