URGENT QUESTION!!!

Nope, chicks cry about everything lol! Unless your brooder is getting cramped then they might be crying about that. I bribe mine with mealworms when it is time to go back inside, they don't act up quite so bad because they're expecting worms.:)
I couldn't find live mealworms, so I tried dead ones with no luck.

Young chicks won’t take to the dried mealworms instantly. You will have to offer them several times. They’ll be apprehensive towards the worms to begin with, but it won’t take long for them to figure out just what they are. Really!
They tried to eat them and couldn't, so I cut them up and when I checked on them, the mealworms were gone! I've tried so many timed and in so many ways, but they just don't like it.

BTW some chicks just won't eat anything that dosen't wiggle. My first two broods ate anything. The last brood wouldn't touch the dried ones. The current brood "started today" is another batch of we'll eat anything babies. So some are just...picky! :)
